2004 Brake lights, truck LED's out (Newbie question)

Does anyone know how hard it is to change the trunk brake lights?

I have a 2004 E320 Sport, half the lights are out... is it a warranty item?

Probably not, I guess I should ask the dealer... but still, just as important is, can I change these myself and how hard it is?

Any assistance is GREATLY appreciated....

I agree, covered under warranty. Is your trunk light operating properly? I remember there was a bulletin issued in DEC for the brake light not operating properly and the trunk light was also rendered inoperable because of the problem. I believe the rear SAM unit in the trunk had to be replaced.
