Greetings to all............

I purchased a 2004 e320 benz a year ago with 16,000 miles on it for my wife and I to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. My wife is the primary beneficiary of this vehicle. It is not the daily driver and garaged 4-5 days a week. The 320 now has 24000 miles. We were prior owners of a 7 series Bmw. Let me say, I've been observing this website for (4) months and the information across the board is no doubt first class. A service D was performed under warranty with no related issues . All recalls and TSB were managed at the 22000 mile mark including an software update for battery issues. I was wondering whether anyone has information on procedures on spark plug change and approximately when would be a good time to change them.

Congratulations on 26 years! Thats an achievement, and I'm sure she deserves the Benz as a token of your appreciation for her. Well done. The regular intreval for changing the plugs is 100,000 miles, so you could let them go for now, they're still sparking right?

Welcome to our family and congratulation, 26 years is rare in today's lifestyle.
As far as your Benz , have your plugs changed around 80k just to feel better Stay on top of the oil changes using the proper oil and enjoy life

Rest assured your car will withstand the same time as your marriage. Congrats! Plugs- 100K recommended interval... Oil change- when it tells you (something I needed to understand... I was old school 2500-3000 miles) Being married 25 years... you know what I mean...
