New Owner. How to lower volume of Nav voice?

New Owner. How to lower volume of Nav voice?
All,

Proud new owner of '06 E350 Sport. Love the rims...

Question: Looked through all the manuals and fiddled around with the NAV. How can I lower the volume or even shut off the woman's NAV voice? I fiddled with the fade-out settings and nothing.

You can adjust the volume by turning the volume knob when the navi is announcing. Or "when in navigation active mode" press "RPT" (repeat), and adjust the volume while the navi is talking to you.

Mute only temporarily mutes. Best way is to hit repeat and turn it down while she is speaking as mentioned above.
