Saw the 07 E at NYC Auto Show Today
The car looks fine. More agressive in front although the pointed bumper/grill reminded me of a bird's beak. I didn't mind the rear lights at all. They had like 4 or 5 including a wagon and a new Bluetech diesel. The also had a separate AMG section with an E55 in the facelifted mode. I didn't notice any interior changes although you couldn't get near the cars with everyone fawning over them. So much for going down on a Friday to beat the big crowds. I can't imagine what it's going to be like over the weekend.
As an aside, the show as a whole was quite impressive. Unbelievable dollars spend on marketing and exhibit set up. Ford took the cake with a whole section devoted to their brands ranging from Aston Martin to Land Rover, Jag, Volvo, etc. You felt like you were on the set of a game show or something! The premium brands were getting all of the attention. You couldn't get near any of the German brands unless you wanted to wait to sit in one. Worth going if you haven't been.

During public days, the MB cars are typically locked. In the past, the cars were left open and each car would have >$1000 worth of damage which had to be repaired before the cars could be sold. This led to them being locked during the public days of the show. Only during press and industry days are the cars open.
