Nav symbol question

On my nav you can set it where is always shows at the bottom real time coordinates, altitude. What is the symbol under the ALT, it is two bars crossing and a number for me its 7 through 11?

The symbol means Satellites, and the number next to it will change from time to time. It is the number of satellites that can "see" you at that given moment. More satellites equals a more accurate fix on your current location.

100 ft increments

If you put the Navigation into Diagnostic Mode you can see all of that info in more detail and it shows Alt. in 1-meter increments.

Since we are on the topic of Navigation symbols, does anyone know what the information in this shot means?
