Display Faulty error
Recently the car throw an error message saying 'Display faulty - visit workshop'.
I can start the car, after it start, it throwed one more error saying 'Faulty Battery (or sth) - Electrical consumer Switched off'.
Weird thing is, radio, power window and aircon is working fine (maybe it run from alternator). The only fault i notice is the petrol gauge, it disappear, no bar at all, i still remember the car is half full. Then, i switched the car off and put the key on position 2, only one error remain, it's the fault display error.
Any idea to reset the Display, or do i have to visit the workshop to fix this?? also, the smart key seems to crap itself, only want to open and locked the car when i point it towards the driver door and cannot open the boot/trunk anymore, i replaced the batteries with my C class key and nothing wrong with the bats, works fine with the C. Connected problem??
Thanks before.
The car is 2003 E240 (W211).

I just got a "visit workshop" on my display yesterday (05 CDI), stating there is a problem with the restraint system. Any suggestions, other than to take it to the dealer?

Update: i brought it to service centre (non stealership) and it turns out that they have 3 service buletin for this car in this particular matter. Change the control module among other things and the best thing is they are free of charge, eventhough my car is out of waranty for more than 6 months.
