Solution to hesitation
I just thought of telling my story:
My car ,E240 2003, was jerking when updhifting while the rpm is less than 1200 rpm.
one year ago I took it to mercedes dealer and they told me that this is normal.
Last week, I took it to the dealer and they told me that it has some recalls and they wanna keep it for two days.
yesterday, I went to collect it and they did the following list of repairs:
1- Water drainage in front upper wheelhouse
2- replace ball on right B-pillar front
3- Check control unit parameters
4- Disconnect and connect Diag *** Sys (DAS)
5- Reprogram Battery control Unit
6- Replace regulator of alternator accelerator
7-Bracket SBC wiring harness
8- Mount ground line of SBC
9- Check SAM
10- replace signal aquisition and actuator module located in the luggage compartment
11- Sensotronic Brake Control Hydraulic unit for Brake system
12- Hydraulic Brake System Bleed
13- Automatic transmission check and adaptation
By the way the car is out of warranty and I didn't pay a penny, they said that these are all recalls and covered by mercedes.
Driving it now is a complete new experience, I drove it at 220 km/h for 40 minutes. And the jerking while shifting at low speed disappeared.
In previous threads people were talking about leaking in the transmission fluid and jerking is caused by mixing water and AFT, and the need to change the converter and radiator - that was all bull****tin (sorry guys)
In summary, I was trying to explain to them the problem they couldn'g fix it for the past year and now they fixed it without knowing it.

Time to apologize to the guys who posted up the *fact* that some M-B trannies had major issues with coolant contamination etc...
Sorry to hear that the problem is back. Maybe they'll replace the transmission out of goodwill since the problem developed while it was under warranty and it is a known defect.

Different radiator
I don't have the valeo radiator as mentioned in the TSB, so water contamination isn't my problem.
when they did the upgrades it was fine, but one week later jerking came back
