Questions & Concerns
1. True or False
Having the Navi Head Unit does NOT mean I have Navi capabilities
2. True or False
Having the three necessary Tele Serv buttons means I have Tele Serv capabilities
4. True or False
The Tele Serv works with GPS
5. Yes or No
If the Tele Serv uses GPS shouldn't the necessary equipment for Navi be there? Isnt it all GPS related?
I was told by the Surgarland Dealership that I wouldnt have the preinstalled COMAND Head Unit if I didnt have the Navi equipment...SO....Any information you can offer I would appreciate.

The slot on the head unit is a single slot CD player. (not all cars have the 6 CD stacker, then this would be the only CD player.) The Navi DVD does NOT go into the head unit anywhere.
While the Tele Aid buttons are in the car, they will do nothing untill an application is filled out, pre paid, and a password chosen, and faxed to Tele Aid to activate the service. it is not free. (Sort of like buying a pre paid cell phone without buying any minutes)
Okay, also, there is a vertical panel that opens and has a fuse box in it...is that the one, or take the side panel off itsself?
THANKS SO VERY MUCH FOR RESPONDING
My car is in the shop, but my memory says it is about 5 inches high by 11 inches wide.
