Please Help, installing Navigation 04 E500
Hi Everyone, I Need Someone To Tell Me What To Do, I Got A Dvd Navigation And Tried To Install It Into My 04 E500, I Plug All The Wires Into It ( Power, Audio, Antenna ) But Its Still Dont Work, What Else I Neeed To Do ???? I Wonder If I Have To Bring My Car Do Dealership To Program It After You Installed The <a href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=1&k=dvd%20player" onmouseover="window.status='Dvd Player'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">Dvd Player</a> For Nav?? I Saw The Threat Here Showing How To Install Nav but he dont mention about reprograming, Plus He Said Its Gonna Work Right Away After But Mine Did Not.=(

You will need to buy the Fiber optical cable and housing and re-route the MOST Loop through the NAV drive! You will also need to split the GPS antenna and connect it to the NAV Drive.
I know there isnt much detail in this reply but if you have not figured it out already PM me and I'll sync up with you and help you! The information is also in the forum somewhere. Search for "Navigation Device Unavailable" and read Steph80's post with pics.
