transmission problem help pls?
hi. guys, i am new here, i have this transmission problem on my E 500 2004. at first i thought that the 7-speed transmission is much better than the 5-speed. but after buying that car, i can feel that the shift gear from 2-3 gears are jerking, and also sometimes when it is cold, the first gear is like doesn't engagaed properly. i already bring it to the dealer three times and they still can't fix it. they say that the transmission is fine. as what i know they already change the valve, and also add some more oil to the transmission. i wondering where you guys have this kind of problem. thanks very much for your reply.

Here are some TSBs you can refer your SA and/or Tech to (I've cut~n~paste from other posts):
P-B-27.60/53 MAR05 -- Rough Downshifting When Accelerating - Reproducible at about 40MPH, software update.
P-B-27.60/61b JAN06 -– Rough Shift Quality 211.056/070/256 - Rough 1-2, 3-2 and 2-1 gearshifts – check oil level, perform shift adaptations, replace Circlip (part # A220 994 03 40), and replace any additional parts as required upon mechanical cause.
P-B-27.50/59a MAR06 replaces transmission flange and valve body

every tech has access to all those dtbs, the problem is they need to have certain pressures and fill times in each clutch to do those dtbs.... the circlip is most common right now, benz effed up at the factory and put the circlip in wrong.
