Quality of the new E

I'm sure many of you have seen posts on other sites warning people not to buy the new E because MB has had problems with new models in the past. My feeling is that a good portion of the changes in the new E are taken from other MB models and so are proven technologies. I think MB has hit a homerun with the new E. I love the car and I do not think it will be problem plagued. Thoughts?

Usually the problems on early cars come out quickly. Ours' got over 5100 miles on it and no problems yet, only some minor squeaking rubber sound when turning the steering wheel. Mechanics just oiled something and now it's totally quiet.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
There has not been a new model...

in the lineup since the W123 that has not had initial problems. This is probably more complex than many. I'ld expect some, but that wouldn't keep me from one.
