20 Inches on a E350 - No problems?
I'm about to have my white 06 E350 delivered and I'm trying to decide between 20" and 19".
I did quite a few searches in the forum and it seems like 20 inches fits without problems for some, and for others there is U-Turn rubbing.
I don't plan on dropping the car at all, and I just want a staggered aggresive look without having to do modify, roll, or adjust the way the car came stock.
Can I just throw the right size 20's on and have no problems? If so, what are the sizes that fit?
If I have to go 19, what is the best tire sizes that look the best with no rubbing?
Thanks in advance.

4 wheels
I would go with 19" rims, with the 20" rims you will feel like you are riding a go kart, the ride will be very rough. Stay with 19" rims and in the rear go to 275 or 285. Front go to 255.

We just did a set of 20" HRE 841R's on an E350 and had no problems, make sure you use a 245/30 and 285/25 tire. The car was also lowered with Eibach and Bilstein shocks. The ride is fine, slightly more rough than the stock set up but you will be happy with the look over all.

I just did my E350 with 20x9(front) and 20x10.5(rear) with 245/30 and 285/25 tires. I also lowered with H&R springs.no rubbing,no problems at all.

CC350,
How much did the H&R springs lower the car? What does a shop charge to install the springs? Nice looking car,Im thinking of buying an E series soon and the pics of your car make me want to run 20's instead of 19's.

The H&R springs lower the car approx 1.5(front) and 1.3(rear).I paid $150 for the installation. Definitely go for 20".I think 19" is too small for e class.

Thanks for the info.Im looking for a new E series with the Sport package or maybe one of these 05-06 used E55's that are popping up now.Ive had Bmw's and now an 05 Audi S4 but now I think its time for an MB.Just need to do some research on what I want before I buy.I need to see some E's with 20 and or 19's up close to see what I will like but so far from all of the pics I'm leaning towards the 20's.Only bad part of this deal is this car is actually for my wife to drive daily,so Im not sure if the 20's are going to have a long life with her at the wheel!

Yes,That's the wald kit. I believe the wald kit is for sport package only. The bodyshop did some custom work on front and rear bumper to make it fit.
