First U.S. acccident involving W211.....
Unfortunately, someone got ran over by an E500 on the test route at the New York event today.....I saw it happen, not a good scene. They shut down at about 2:45, don't think they reopened the route.
Anyway, got to see the car a little (was just about to drive it when the accident happened).....very nice though, real solid (Pano roof was cool, but not really into the roof coming up over the body).

The lady was walking next to the trail/course where the cars drive around and appeared to have tripped in front of it. The car smacked into her, she fell and was dragged a bit forward by the front left tire (there was a slight delay in the guy braking). So she was like under the front bumper laying against the wheel. Tons of people were running and screaming "stop the car." Around 5 or 6 Cop cars showed, along with an Ambulance.....very unfortunate.

Was this the event in Tarrytown?
If so I was there on Saturday at 3:00pm. When did this happen???? Was it on Saturday or Sunday. The E-motion event was awesome! The test drive session was delayed for about 30 mins due to thunderstorms. But overall, I love these types of events and I love the E-500! Will post some pics later.

This took place today (Sunday) in Tarrytown.......at first, we thought she was dead. Some people were yelling also "oh my god, I think she's dead." But awhile later she was moving her leg "very" slightly, but other than that she wasn't moving at all.

I was there on saturday and MBUSA had lots of crew on hand to prevent this sort of problem. People were advised to stay off the courses which were marked with those orange cones.
Those who were there can testify to this. This was just a freak accident and i hope she makes a full recovery

I can't believe this! I didn't hear anything on the news. It was bound to happen, though. They were silly. They should have had us on a test track or something. Silver_Lana can testify that I almost got a speeding ticket on Rte. 9 in the E500. This happened on the grounds of the estate, on the E320 course?

This did happen on the Castle grounds.......right in back where all the different models were displayed. I didn't know there was an E320 course, because they were mixed in with each other driving along the path. Although there were 2 separate areas to get on line, didn't see any signs that said each line was model specific.
