A Grand Day Out (or two)
Every once in a while, everything works as it should. Over the holiday weekend I had 2 of those days.
Both days 5 people in the car, 3 adults and 2 children.
Sunday, 120 mile round trip, cruise control set at 72 (as much as possible). The trip computer displayed 37.4 mpg up and 37.2 back.
Monday, 88 mile round trip, cruise control set at 72 (where possible).
The trip computer displayed 37.2 mpg up and 37.3 back.
In all cases, I had higher readings before I had to travel on city streets at the end of each leg.
The A/C was working great despite the 90+ outside temperature.
The V557 MHI was working perfectly with my V635 and I had 5 bars of signal almost everywhere.
Now if I could only avoid collecting so many dead bugs on the car.
