Noticed today that the brightness on the display for the climate control is very dim. Is there any way to change the brightness? I was not able to find setting in the config menu.

Rotating the reset button on the left side of the instrument cluster will adjust the display lighting level.

The display lights will also automatically dim in low ligting conditions, like nighttime, but also on very overcast days.

 

Tried that and it is still less than half as bright as it used to be.

 

Whenthe climate control display is dim, exit the car & see if your headlights are on. The display lighting is dimmer when the headlights come on.

 

I do have the day time lights on. Auto headlights only. Had the car out tonight and even at night the display is very dim. I guess I will add it to the list then I visit the dealer next.

I have/had the same problem and the dealer told me that it is self adjusting (very minor adjustments possible with the knob aside the instrument cluster)
If you put you radio display mode to "auto" you will see when the radi background changes from white to dark automaticly ,the climate display will change too..but its still kinda dim at early nites.
I think i will ask the dealer where the sensor is and maybe just clean it with windex.
