Garage door opener not working 100%

This is the first time. For the past 10 days garage door button will not open the garage. I figured it out that if I press it and then touch the bulb adjacent to it, after some CONTACT of both light would start blinking and garage would open and close. But it is a pain in the .....neck.

Please help if anyone had this occur and if there is some battery that needs to be changed.

Forward your email address by Private Messages (Konigstiger – Contact Info – Private Message). I’ll send a bulletin that might resolve this matter. Basically instructs how to erase memory and reprogram (also noted in your manual). However, it is my understanding that if you do not follow the bulletin procedure before visiting the dealer and the dealer clears the problem by performing this same procedure the repair will not be covered by warranty. Therefore it would be best to follow the bulletin procedure first. In this way you're covered and entitled to free repair without question.

If this does not resolve your problem the integrated garage door opener on the rearview mirror may need to be replaced under warranty.

I've never had this problem, so I can't help. But when I was in for my last service, I asked if there was some sort of battery I needed to change for the garage opener, and they told me there isn't--that it is handled by the power system of the car, not a battery.

Good luck!

Programming the garage door opener

It's in the owner's manual, but I also seem to remember that I had to hold the buttons on the mirror kind of firmly, to get it to take. Good luck. Erase everything and try again.

I had the same problem a while back. Dealer replaced entire homelink/rear view mirror under warranty.
