Makes no sense. The car is over 50K for a 320.. Whats going on with the navigation?? Why would they introduce the new model and hold back the Nav?? Also I heard the ML320 is being switched for the ML350,,,,I have a feeling that for 2004,,the e320 will switch out for the 350...I am thinking to hold off my purchase for now,,,I have a deposit for a black/stone e320 since March 2002.

1/ The 320 model comes standard with Thermatic, which is a non digital readout A/C system.
It has no digital rear readout and no rear window side vents
Thermotronic is an extra cost but is standard in the 500.
Besides the digital readouts and side vents both the systems work almost the same.
2/ Both Java and Quartz have been replaced by a color called Pebble Beige, shown above.
The Stone color is called Orion Grey.
3/ Pewter is a great modern color that unlike black is easy to keep clean and looks great on the E Class.
I think you will be happy!!
Can they really be using that ugly analog A/C control in the new 320? That looks like something they only use in their low trim line in other countries. When I ordered my 320, the only option on the A/C was to add controls in the rear to make it a 4-zone instead of a 2-zone. It never said anything about upgrading the front controls from analog to digital. I suspect all US 2003 E's will be getting a digital display A/C as the current 2002's have. I'll try to look at some more pics to double check.
Anybody with the FULL 2003 E brochure who knows for sure?
Thanks!
In that case, for $550 (which is the price I've seen in several posts) you go from analog to digital up front, add 2 digital controls for the rear AND add vents in the side pillars for the rear. That doesn't seem like such a bad deal.
Does anybody know if this is correct?
Thanks.
