Leather pkg??
I ordered the 211 (E320) without leather. Was told by my salesperson that all of the E's were initially coming in with full leather. It is initially supposed to be a part of the moonroof pkg.. I was told it would be surprisingly inexpensive. Anyone on this forum hear word of this? It does not show up in the brochure. Thanks in advance. Peter

i am looking at the new e brochure...
and, leather seating inserts are standard on the e320. the "premium leather upholstery on all seat surfaces (including head restraints and front seatbacks) plus gathered door trim inserts and door armrests" are optional. standard on the e500.

Full Leather - Optional on 320
Standard - only the inserts are leather, the side bolsters, headrests and door panels are leatherete (fake).
The optional leather replaces all the leatherete with real leather.

Look at the C Class Sedan
I believe that the standard seats on the E320 will have the same material as the C-class sedans. It looks like leather, kinda smells like leather, but only the middle section of the seat is leather. The rest of the seat is like BMW's fake leather (leatherette?). I don't think that the US market sees any cloth interior in the E-class like that which is on the C-Class coupe, but I maybe wrong....
