'03 E320 wagon 44k for $24000. a very good deal?
I'm looking at a '03 E320 wagon 45k milage for $24000. Still have 6mo. 5k factory warranty left . One personal owner, clean carfax report and autocheck report, no damage history. Blk on blk. standard options with heated seats/moonroof/CD changer. It is a NY car. Will this be a concern?
This price, 24k, is even lower than the trade in value from both Edmunds and kbb (around 27,-30k range). I will have it inspected tomorrow. It is sold by a reputable dealer so I think probably things will be fine. But its been on the market since Feb, makes me wondering... Is this a very good deal? too good to be true?
year 2003 is an overlaping model year for E-class. 2003 Sedans are W211 and 2003 wagons are still W210. Could this be the reason that edmunds and Kbb appraised 2003 wagon at 27k-30k range while 2002 wagon at 18k-22k range? Even 2004 wagons are only appraised for 29k-33k. So there is definately a big jump between 2002 and 2003 for wagons, which shouldn't be the case if both are based on W210, right?
