2003 E500 Rear Air is hot?

I am having a problem with the rear air in my w211 E500. With both rear and front controls set to the coldest setting after about 10 minutes of driving I get hot air from the rear vents. If I put the control on max heat and back to coldest setting it works for another 10 minutes and then gets hot again, Can any one help me? Thank you...

With so many people having this rediculously stupid problem, you'd think that MB would let the dealers know if theres a REAL solution yet. The dealers seem to be guessing. My dealer did a computer reset of the A/C system, whatever that is. I must admit that the A/C makes the car a much more comfortable cool when set at a warmer temperature (like it did the 1st year), so I guess they did eliminate some heat that was mixing in everywhere. The monsterous heat pouring out of the back of the car's vents hasn't come back either...

But this is a well known problem here on the forum, yet each dealer seems to be guessing at the solution since NONE of the cars exhibit this behavior when restarted by the repairing mechanic at the dealer, even though it was heating in the rear when I drove it in.. How can everyone here know about a problem, yet MBUSA is mystified that there is a problem at all?

Do I sound like I'm starting to get a little irritated with the German designed electronics again??

It all boils down to how much do you care about your customers. MB obviously ranks very low in that category, to say the least. Remember at one time GM used to be that way. Now even the once mighty GM is on the brink of going broke! Do you think MB is more inmune to that more than the once mighty GM? I don't think so! Time will tell. I for one will not buy another MB unless it changes its attitude of making cars and doing business.
