SBC Brake Replacement
Just purchased an '03 E320 after selling a '98 E320. This car has 51K on the odometer and looks to be needing a pad/rotor replacement soon, on all four corners. Can I hear from some owners who have done this job themselves, what parts they used, (OEM or aftermarket, etc) cost, precautions, etc. My understanding is that you can put the SBC system "to sleep" and safely do this job yourself. Thanks for any input. I am new to this forum.

I just did my brakes again at 104,000 miles and it was very easy. I put the MB replacement brake pads on as well as new rotors and replaced all three sensors. The entire job, including painting my calipers, took just a few hours on a Friday evening after work. Good luck!
