Airbag Deployment - CLK vs. an elderly lady
This is kind of off topic but have you seen this video of a CLK vs. an elderly lady?

Obviously the guy in the MB is being a jerk for not yielding to a pedestrian at a crosswalk but does anyone know how/why the air bag deploys in this incident? I thought a certain amount of body intrusion is required for the air bag to be triggered and that does not seem to be the case here.

If you've seen the entire commercial, not the abridged version found on many websites such as You Tube, you'll notice that it's a "What-if" Ikea commercial. Now, the most ironic part is, why would Ikea make a commercial that doesn't feature their products? At least not prominently.
