Mileage correction on E320 CDI?

Hi,

I'm looking for a company or technician that is able to do a minor adjustment (odo display) to the digital dash on my E320 CDI '04 plate (avant garde is it makes any odds )

Ideally in the Edinburgh area, I could also travel to surrounding cities if need be

If anyone has suggestions or contacts, I'd appreciate info as a reply to this post or to email me

Thanks much

Gavin

Go to Billy Bob's Used Cars

They are in Arkansas about 10 miles south of Little Rock.

Any idea if the have branches over here in Scotland ?

Seriously though, the car is reading a full 100k more than it should be but the main dealer refuses to either replace the control unit or make any correction.

Google "mileage adjustment." You may be surprised. It seems to be a thriving cottage industry in the UK. Not so in US jurisdictions, where the law very much frowns on any "correction" of indicated mileage, especially downwards.

Incidentally, did your mileage just sorta kinda jump up by 100,000 one day, or has it been consistently rolling up too high over the term of your lease?
