can't get into "hidden engineering menu"

can't get into "hidden engineering menu"
I'm able to get into the main engineering menu as well as the 3,5,7 menu for the command. But I've been trying all day to get into the engineering menu by pressing # and * + left joystick key.
I no some can't get into the engineer menu at all, but I assume that if I can get into both of the above menu. I should be able to get into the "HIDDEN" menu right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you have a EURO COMAND?

I just had the software ver. updated at the dealership and now I can play MP3s. The problem is that since the update, I cannot use the Mute + 345 to get into the Engineering menu! Any help would be great.
