2004 E320 Options question

Hi all,

First post here. It's a shame that MB changes the number designation of their option packages each year.
And, unfortunately, the catalog from that year doesn't use them. So here's my question.

I'm looking at a 2004 E320 4matic that has the following :

317 comfort package
320 entertainment package
325 rear seat package
422 appearance package

Does anyone know the specifics of what's included in the above and what the value is of each?

Additional options include DVD Nav, heated steering wheel, panoramic roof, 4 zone climate control and keyless go. 39k miles.
Edmunds indicates approx 42.5k TMV. What kind of deal can I expect from a dealer who's asking about the same Thanks.

Interesting, no responses here or at benzworld. Can someone at least tell what kind of markup a dealer would be using at this price point @$42k ? And
what's the max discount I can expect ? Thanks

Is there a standard mark up the dealer charges????? Not likely. I would assume in part that it would have to do with supply and demand and how far the dealer bent over the previous owner. Also with the new V6 in the e350, I would think you could get a used 320 for a song...
Its sounds like your doing your home work, so go in and make your best deal. Goodluck.

Thanks HOH...I had a feeling that was the case. It's going to be all about how much the dealer has in the car and how anxious they are to move it by month's end. And, of course, the '07's are right around the corner.

Now the loaded question ! What would you personally use as a starting offer, based on the ask price @ $42.5k ?
