V8 AMG

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone here can help me. I am in the process of changing out the original rubber accelerator pedal with the factory AMG aluminium ones in my wife's W211.
I have partially undone the pedal via removal of the plastic pin, but cannot remove the tongue part located underneath the pedal. It is this "tongue" portion that i need to remove in order to free the whole accelerator pedal and swap the AMG ones over.
Any help with the removal of this accelerator would be much appreciated.

It just slides up if I remember correctly.. Pull the center out.

Don't take off the tongue

Just pull off the rubber cover from the AMG and put it on the stock pedal

Thanks for the info. That's what i eventually had to do to fit the accelerator pedal.
