i went to the dealer today...and omg they were SOOO beautiful..the rear taillights looked so good....and the front clear lenses are the best headlights i have ever seen...they were big and looked very luxurious. And in the other thread someone posted the wheel size looks, and yea, you can totally tell them apart, the e320 looks like 15's, but the e500 do look like true 17's. The interior was ok...but the gauges were awesome, and all the little gadgets were great. The coolest part was the 6cd opener...it is all motorized...it was cool. Rear seats were kinda small, and the digital readout for the a/c in front and back were kina small looking...but they looked god. Also, the side pocket on the doors were made with top notch material...it was like butter in my hand...all of the material was high quality..and the seats were very comfortable...also, all the buttons were nicely placed...and i dont know if you guys read my previous posts, but thenav button is blank...i especially liked the tail lights the best...they were so awesome...

 

From all accounts, I firmly believe my dealer hides all the new models in the back on purpose. When did the new CLK arrive at dealers? There hasn't been one in the front, side, or in the showroom to date. Yet, you walk in the back (like a mile walk) and there are like 5-6 of them hiding behind a bunch of MLs.


I went later today to see if there were any E's in plain view....none, I'll bet there in the back hiding next to the CLKs.

 

My dealer has the "hot" cars on an observation deck on the second story of the building that you can get to only from inside.

 

yea, i went to mercedes of san diego, they arent my real dealer, but i just showed up, cuz my real dealer didnt have any today. They were not ready for a test drive...they had all of that white stuff..and there were plastic bags on all the seats...and they were in the back..but they were good looking to me even with all that stuff. Also, the sunglass holder pops out in less than a second, very quick, i loved all the buttons and stuff...but the killer was the gauges, they were sooo nice, all the readouts, and everything, and the info center was cool....it was saying the passenger door was open so we couldn't lock the car with the keyless go..and all the chrome was awesome too
