01 CLK430 cab, Silver/Ash/Blk top: 2003 E500 On order Silver/Ash, Sport package
I got to see them today!!!
Wow I was able to see a brilliant silver/stone E500 with E-2 package, very nice combination. also a brilliant silver/charcoal with the E-2 and E-3 Sport package, and the Sport package has Sport emblems on the front fenders near the door and on the brushed aluminum gear knob, along with the black maple. I liked this. Both cars have the very same sized Continental Conti tires however the Sport has the 5 spoke wheels where the stand., model has the double 5 spoke, both looked great. Then I saw a Pewter with stone interior and a Dessert Silver with slone interior. They all looked great. Saw one wood steering wheel (sharp)
I have a confirmed ESP of October 1, 2002. for an E500 Brilliant Silver/Ash, with E-2, E-3 sport, cd changer, wood & leather steering wheel, cell phone, and drive dynamic seats. I am not sure if I had seen the Sport package with the emblems ahead of time if I would have chosen that option.
The car is definately an improvement in comfort and features that the previous E. It feels more like the S model. Cannot wait to drive one.
