I believe I could still drop the car another ½ an inch since I’m not at the lowest setting yet. I’ll probably lower the front a tad over the weekend. Nice drop man. I have The same module too. but then i dare not to drop that low as my car is already rubbing really badly. anyway. good luck if you planing to change wheels.

What settings are you running and what size of wheels/tires? I got the RENNtech ELM on 3 all around with my stock 17's. Manual says only go lower than 3 unless show purposes but wonder if that is just being conservative

LOL, I'll definitely have to raise it up a notch if I get rims but in the meantime, I like the tucked look.

Renntech Low Mod Question

I had my Renntech Lowering Module installed a few days ago and have been playing around with the heights. I can't seem to get mine to go nearly as low as the other pics here...Especailey in the front...Any hints? Did you do any other mods?

Thanks!

In the pics the fronts were set at position 3 and the rear at 4. I've lowered my front down to position 1 after I took these pics. I did have my car lowered via STAR before getting the ELM so maybe that contributes to my lower setting?

Yeah, a little bit...it's lowered via the star. But I've been thinking about installing the Renntech system.

STAR is the MB way to modify the car computer through the OBDII link.

Ride is slammed man. Even after you get your 19s, keep it dumped like that. I'm on 20s and I like to ride it low too.

No way in hell you drive it around at that height, right? I would think the ride would turn your brain into scrambled eggs.

Pretty sure he could pull it off driving that low. We just drive like this from now on.

I was driving it around at that height for a while then I decided to raise it about 3/4" when I put the carbon fiber front lip on. It used to ride a lot stiffer, but it's amazing how much it has improved just from a slight increase in height.

Yeah, you get pretty used to it after a while. All my cars in the past have always been really low so it feels natural for me to drive that looks like a hockey puck sliding on the ice.

hey nice drop ryda , you say the module allows for a 2" drop... that looks like a 3" drop? Is there a setting on the module that will let you completely slam the car to the ground when the car is off (lets say parked infront of the club) :-D
