4matic an option for e320 Bluetec?

If DCX felt there was a big enough market here for the car, they'd spend the time and money to certify it. My guess is that (a) the E320 diesel already caters to a very small market with only 45 states able to sell it, and for a 4-matic version it would be even smaller, (b) the fuel economy would suffer to the point that it wouldn't do well enough in the EPA cycle for many buyers to justify it, and (c) they'd rather sell you an ML320 CDI if you require an AWD diesel Benz.
