Weird Smell
I just bought a new 2007 E350 with sports package just over a week ago. It seems that after I drive it for about 3 miles or so and stop the car there is a weird smell of sulfur being emitted from the car. I had the Mercedes dealer look at it and they told me it was common. However I own other Mercedes cars and they never emitted that sort of smell. There is only 300 miles on it and I use 91 octane for the car. Does anyone have any idea why my car smells like that after I drive it???

this is normal... I have an 06 E500 sport and it did the same. Its just some of the plastic and rubber parts breaking in...
I dont know how your driving it but I got it most when the car was driven a little hard(during breakin period)

I had the same issue - was told or it could be the "batch" of gasoline at your local station. Try finish off this tank and try another station.
Was also told to open up the car on the highway for a good stretch of road.
Tried both - on the same tank of gas - not sure which worked but its gone.
