Stereo Black Out!
I thought i had my share of issues with this stereo after the dealer replaced it with a new one few months ago. But just last week it happened, it Blacked out for few minutes n then just picked up right where it left off playing. Wht a pissr! n just again today on my way to chicago it just decided to take a little break on me. Whtever man! This car is driving me crazy.
luv to look at, luv to just take off n do 130 in split secs but not on the expense on loosing my tunes. Dont' mess with my tunes, it just takes all the kewlness outta car.
Any insights? my aftermarket warranty wont cover it so think of some Free ways to fix this.

If the stereo was replaced a few months ago request a goodwill inspection and repair from the dealer who performed the work. It may be possible that associated software wasn’t updated at the time of replacement. Or some other simple resolve

Isnt there a TSB for some radio fix? Mine acts up every once in awhile. Sometimes it doesnt turn on until a minute after hitting the power. It's pretty rare though so I dont know if the dealer would be able to pinpoint the problem.
