Malfunction: Tire Press Monitor System Display

Newest malfunction on the display: Malfunction: Tire Pressure Monitor System Display... all I get are dashes (---) when I scroll to see the tire pressure.

Good Lord, one thing after another all Summer long. When will this car let me enjoy it?

Barry, I had less trouble with my first wife than you have had with your car. You have the patience of a saint, or else you are truly a masochist.

usually due to a bad module. Module manufacturers were changed in 2005 or 06 to siemens due to the many problems with Beru. There are lots of superceeded part numbers for the Beru modules.

I DO have the patience of a Saint when it comes to this car... I'm trying so hard to enjoy it, but it wears thin when your co-workers always ask "...where's your car? what's wrong with your car NOW?"

It makes you look like a jerk for paying for a Benz & driving a 10 year old '96 Chevy Corsica with crank windows. (My backup/airport car).

I said it before... I think the guys who got 211's with only xenon, a sunroof & LED's are enjoying their cars immensely, because its all the options I ordered that work like crap. Oh well, its back to the "workshop" Monday.

Yup, faulty sensor which had to be replaced (under warranty). They also said that if the Tire Sensor goes off, you also have to go into the shop to clear the code....sheeesh!

Well the TPMS was working this afternoon after not working for 24 hours. I went for a haircut & when I came out the malfunction reocurred. Its enough to give you fits. I hope it either stores the error message or isnt working when I bring it in on Monday so they have something to troubleshoot.

it DOES store the error message so the dealer should know why it occurs.
