Red face newbie to mbworld- advice needed

i have just become new owner of a used 04 e240 sport and am thinking of upgrading the standard stereo with subwoofer to comand.

i have done extensive research and will go ahead with the install and am planning to get a euro comand

my car has no incar phone and thus no antenna. Is a DIY tv tuner possible? it appears there is no post on installation of antenna...

has anyone got bad experience of any sort getting a unit from ebay?

Thanks in advance

Unless I totally mistaken the antenna is for teleaid and non-BT connected cells. The AM/FM antenna is mounted elsewhere and I would suspect that you have one as well. Thus it should be possible to install a COMAND unit off eBay without any problems. You will still have to talk to you local shop and have them connect Stardiag and configure the fiber ring.
