1997 E 420 180,000 miles Should I get it ?
1997 E420 two owners second both owners kept records oil changes etc... However, it has 180,000 miles on it !!!! This will be my first Benz....I'm a BMW dude! The price is 6,700 and it comes from a good wholesale place that sells nothing but highend cars. It rides great I like it feels cool. I have four people behind me that want it. So please help new to the forum.. Thanks.

With that many miles be prepared for large maint bills. Keep in mind also that you will most likely be the last owner of the car other than the salvage yard.

Not as a daily driver, it'll be in the shop too much. You'll need patience, extra money for repairs and a second vehicle or public transportation. Try asking the W210 (1995-2002 E class) forum, this is the W211 (2003+ E class) section and most are not used to that kind of miles. The W210 group may have different advice for you.
