Lowering the Car
Any help please.
The car is 320 CDI 2005 V6 sport
There is no button for suspension settings on this car
I have done the lowering with washers; it has no effect on height at all, none.
We have put so many washers in the front; you could hardly get the nut back on, still to no effect.
Same with the rear adjusted the module quite a bit, again no joy the car does not lower.
Any ideas why not?

Good gracious. Your car doesn't have airmatic, so i wonder what bolt you have been messing with. i suggest you get it back to stock and take some pics for us. Without knowing more, i will guess that you have no Airmatic and that you would need new springs to lower it.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
The front suspension has the sensor on the o/side strut. One on the front only.
The rear has it on the axle sub-frame just like the photos on this site by member RENTECH55K9 (with pictures)
The sensors are exactly the same, in the same place.
I’m in the United Kingdom, and don’t know if the car has air-matic.
How do I know? There is no button inside to alter suspension. The car is an AMG sport pack V6 cdi.
Adjusting with the washers takes minutes to do so no hassle; you don’t have to take the front wheel off for a start. If the front is a xenon sensor what does the rear do then?

That's what it must be then on the UK cars. They must use the same sensor type for both systems.
There is no feed of any kind into the rear shockers (electric, air ,hydrolic),or the front struts.
It will have to stay at the height it is then
