Does anyone know why the sport package in the US is different then the rest of the world? Everywhere else except the US the sport package looks like the E55, while in the US its completely different. Also does anyone know if it is possible to purchase the AMG kit oustide the US? Thanks dalibor21

I'd wager that since the AMG sport kit looks so much like the AMG version of the car, they decided not to release it in the US. That's just my opinion, though, because I recall when the W210 E was released for '96, I remember thinking the sport kit looked remarkably like the European E50' that were running about by '97 (probably because they did look almost exactly the same!) Not releasing the AMG sport kit would make the E55 more exclusive ... but in the end, this is just my wild guess. Who knows what the real reason is.
