Who's the one with the KD BOX?

Do you have any pictures/explanation of where this module installs? I was curious as to what exactly it does. I might consider a E320 Bluetec with the KD box in the near future. The Kleeman website didn't have much information other than that it worked for the V6 diesel.

Its big and Grey!
Install on my I6 was easy, a hour at most. I dont know how the install on the v6 CDI will go though. My box is installed under the cabin air filter on the top left of the engine bay and the wires are reouted to the connectors on top of the engine. (under the plastic cover).

Other than 50lb ft of torque and 20hp, there is not much of a diffrence.

No pics sorry.

Cool, thanks!!! I'm going to have to decide here shortly which car I am going with. Thinking maybe the new diesel, decked out 350 or a bare 550. I test drove the 550 today it feels pretty strong with the 382hp.

I've got one in my '05. PM me with your email address & I'll forward you the step by step install pictures that Cory made up for me.

I think the install took all of 45 minutes... on a fairly hot engine & even cutting the notch in the plastic grommet/insert thing.

Test drive the 350 see if it meets your personal daily performance needs. While the 500 will be faster, etc, I personally would prefer the Bi xenons & the other stuff to be in the car.. like P2 pkg... or the P1 w/ satellite Radio. The Bi-Xenon headlight are so vastly superior to anything you have ever driven. I usually regret buying a stripped car just to move up to the next "higher" level. I have heard that the 320 was definately the 500's weaker little Brother, those with the 350s really like the performance.

Just my 2 cts.

I've got the active Bixenons on my 06 E350 right now. It has the 322 package on it...

I consider the 550 for the additional power, and then the additional power I would put on it on top of that.... You know, so i could spank an E55.
