E550 drag times?
Has anyone here raced their 2007 E550? If so, please tell me the 1/4 time and trap. TIA!

You didn't ask for magazine road test times, but FWIW, Car & Driver ran 13.4 @ 106.

Fear not, that's still slower than the 12.5 @ 116 they recorded for the W211 E55 AMG.

Thanks DWP. I think that's a solid number, I have seen that quoted on DragTimes.com too. I'm thinking about E550 vs E63 and not sure the E63 is worth it... I've seen E63 times of around 13.1... so based solely on drag race speed the E63 is not worth $25k in my mind over the E550. I know there are other considerations, of course. Thanks again.

The law of diminishing returns probably applies in this case. I would love to have an E63 AMG, but the $25K is hard to rationalize, as are the higher operating costs and higher depreciation.

Are you replacing your 2006 E55, or adding to the stable?
