06 E500,does anybody know where the airbag computer is,is it in the center console??, my front two bags are blown and I need to send to computer to be reset,Thanks

 

It is in the center console. You need to take the shift cover out, then the ashtray/change cubby, and it will be right there. You can see pictures of it at mbdoctor's website (for the head unit install). Before taking it out, replace the bags and have the car disgnosed, the module should reset with the star-diagnose at the dealer, according to what I've read, it has up to 3 deployments before turning into an expensive paperweight, so give it a try, nothing to loose.
