I looking into the euro side view mirrors but I was wondering if you would need to replace both sides. The US spec mirror on the passenger side is already somewhat concave. Is the passenger side euro mirror better than the US spec?

OK thanks. But I would like to know what the difference is between the euro and US spec right mirror. Is it more convex, different coating or different convex curve? I know about the left mirror but if someone could tell me about the difference between the right mirrors that would great.

 

The Difference on the RIGHT side mirror glass is the USA is all convex with the Objects are closer than they are...and the EURO Mirror glass is convex on the OUTER THIRD of the glass

 

My personal experience with the RH side is from a C-class. That is similar to the pre MY07 E-class. The mirrors appear about the same on the insde 2/3. Except you will not have that wording on the glass. The outside 1/3 enhances your blindspot.

No, my 07 has different mirrors than your 06.

 

2003-2006 E classes use the same mirror. The passanger side mirror is the same as the w203. The drivers is a little different. Make sure you get the drivers mirror with dimming capability.
