2004 E320 Sport - sound
hi everyone, we bought an 04 E320 sport in feb '06. when u drive it, it feels like there is a pump going on in the background, the car is never quiet, it seems, its not super loud but just feels like a heart is beating or something in the back, i have checked the tires and they seem pretty good - wasn't sure if there was road noise, also my car has an airmatic suspension, does airmatic ride like that? so pls help with any guidance...i am bringing the car in on wednesday anyway to check out - thanks...

the thing is that mine is making knocking sounds all the time - its not too loud but its ever so subtle - its like a pump is going on/ or a heart is beating in and out, its not just going over bumps, like i said maybe the answer is that all airmatics are like this...then what is the advantage of an airmatic?
