Can I get a new Key?

So my brother just bought an 07 E class and the key looks pimp. With chrome looking sides and stuff. If I buy a new key for my '03 clk, will I get a new one as a replacement? Just wondering.

Why not just ask the dealer? It's not like you can get it anywhere else.

try taking it apart and seeing if you can just retrofit your key in his key fob, he would then need to get a new key

And when you remove the metal trunk key from the smart key, there is a small pop out ring that the valets can hang the smart key on their board with !! No more tape, no more plastic bags! Smart + key.
