Yes everything worked very well! I couldn't install the springs myself so I had to pay a shop to do it but $250 wasn't bad. As soon as they dropped the car of the lifter I just smiled!!! WOW what a difference lowering the car makes with the 20's. To this day I just smile to be in the car now! Hope everything worked out for you too.

Hey guys first time poster..just thought id share my new car and rims that I just put on..ur feedback would be much appreciated...do u guys think i should lower another .5" to 1"?
It's an 03 E500 with keyless go, lowered with adjustable links. panoramic roof. black on light beige.

Hi Folks,
Newbie here- Picked up a CPO'd 2003 E320 (47K mi) a couple months ago (traded in our BMW E46 which was going on 130K miles and needing some major$ services)
Only read of the recall items on this particular years model after the purchase-THANKS to all for the wealth of information especially Konigstiger!
Fortunately the CPO warranty is thru 100K or MAR 2011 and service records show service bulletins addressed.
So far no issues and loving the drive,comfort and looks of the car. Also pleased with the gas mileage which as been ~23 city/28 Hwy in SF Bay Area traffic
Here are a few quick pics:

Since you asked, I have to agree. IMHO, the whole black, silver, minimal spoke thing doesn't too much for you.

Is anyone else going to miss the looks of the W211, when the next generation comes out?
I think the front of this car is simply gorgeous, classic, and elegant. I love the headlamps and shape.
The spyshots of the next generation seems so futuristic. I like the design on my C-class ok, but on the E-Class I really think I'm going to miss this design.
Sometimes it annoys me how Mercedes moves every car to their new design ideas instead of keeping some of the old that is oh so beautiful. I guess it's a hard balance, but the W211 was simply gorgeous to me, particularly in the front, and I'm really going to miss that.
I think the front of this car is simply gorgeous, classic, and elegant. I love the headlamps and shape.

Mercedes-Benz 2006 W211 E320 CDI Avantgarde stationwagon
Newbie showing some wheels
Hey everyone, I am new on this site, and found it coincidental when surfing for Mercedes entusiasts, I recently bought an E320 '06 CDI Avantgarde from a Mercedes dealer in Copenhagen, it is all fine, all the electronics worked properly and the engine ran smoothly (they recently had it serviced).
Gotta say im impressed, it's the first Mercedes I own and i simply just love it, the ride comfort, the gadgets and the feeling og quality - simply just amazing - i even manage to get around 14 km/L in it, which is equal to something like a 1.8 litre V4 petrol engine

Looking at the yellow colored rear license plate, I"ll guess you're from Europe. Was the quad ex. a factory option with the AMG body kit? I know here in the US. the 321 AMG package offered dual tips with the "AMG" logo engraved on the exhaust.
