how do those ventilated seats work ? I heard not too good ?

 

I like the AV seats. The cooling is subtle, It does not give you the feeling of sitting on an ICE CUBE by no means, But is cool to the touch. Just right cooling to keep you from sweating from sitting on a leather seat on a warm day... and the Heating is 3 levels. Only drawback is it auto ajusts the temp down after 5 minutes to medium and then to low after another 5 minutes and then off after 20 minutes.

 

Has any one seen or know where I could find a picture of an E500 Sport in Tectite? I'm ordering and I'm trying to make up my mind on color. I thought Tectite with ash interior might go well given that a lot of the Sport interior has a grey/black/silver appointments.

 

I posted a numebr of pictures of this color combo back around January 10 when I first got my car. With the sport package black wood, the combination is stunning, without a doubt.

 

Finally got my new Capri Blue/Stone car with E2, E5, Premium Leather, 6 disk changer. Here are a couple of pictures.

Nice looking car. I really like the color combo. I like the pics too. You know have you noticed that if you don't take a good pic from the right angles of the new E class it don't look so hot. Your pics show it off well.

 

Very nice, and can I inquire about the floor mats? They don't look like the factory mat but they look very good and well fitted around the dead pedal. I'm hoping they have a dark gray I could use. Thanks.

 

I got the floor mats from Walmart and they are available in different colors. While the drivers side and the rear mats are nearly perfect fit, the passenger side is not that good. I guess these will have to do for now until I can find something better. Most of the places that I have checked do not have custom fit mats for the new E class yet.

Very nice looking ride. I have ordered a Sport with charcoal and had a hard time making my mind up on the interior because of the birds eye maple. Did you have the same difficulty? Had you seen the combo before you ordered or did you buy it from the showroom floor where you got to look at it?

I assume you like the combo.

 

I liked the birdseye when I saw it. Pictures on the Internet really don't do it justice. Just like the Jade Black. Up close you can see the depth to it. And it makes the interior a lot more austere (which I like).

Truthfully, I wasn't even going to get a new W211, I was going to keep my W210 for a few more years. But, when I saw this and drove it - I was sold.
