Singapore imports
I recently passed through Singapore and was informed that the import tax was virtually the same as the cars purchase price and you can only own a car for 10 years and then have to sell it.
I guess you need a few shell company's to move it around so you can still get to drive it.

Some details....2007 E320 Bluetec. Approximately 114k miles. Been eyeballing this for about 10 days. I’ve had MB before, but this is my first diesel. Love the torque and the firm ride! Completely stock as of now, got an appointment today to get the windows tinted. Any other customization ideas? Any maintenance tips.? Been a lurker in the past to this forum; great information and help!

I paid just under 10k. The car is very clean inside and out. Maybe a little on the high side, but the relatively low miles, firm ride and overall looks sold me. Good new from my ppi...I’m happy with my purchase

I spent $29k with 22k miles and at 44700 miles needed to replace the balance shaft $5400 so a total of $34400 or a 2006 E350 much better than the original $60k lol
but according to Strigoi I should have junked the car at that point

2006 E55 AMG
Pewter '06 E55 AMG
Bought this baby back in January 2017 and left it stock for entire year, picked up a position at a Mercedes-Benz dealer this year so the car has gotten some major TLC.
Car started it's life on E55 AMG wheels but they were all bent so I picked up some SL55 AMG multi-spoke wheels for temporary use while I save money for some custom built wheels.
Recently had my technician here lower the car (last two pictures with the SL55 wheels)
Wheel specs 18x8.5 / 9.5 (not sure about offset) 245/40/18 - 275/35/18
Just wanted to throw these pictures up here in case anyone was looking for inspiration on their build occasionally, like myself!

2006 E55 AMG
Hey everyone, picked up this W211 E55 last January and began modding it this year so I wanted to join the community and share my photos.
Picked it up with about 87k miles in Walnut Creek, CA for $18,999 in January 2017. Clean title, three owners (I'm the fourth)
Pewter exterior with the black interior and gray suede headliner.
Some mods currently done to the vehicle include a resonator delete and it's also lowered about an inch or so with washers and slotting.
The car also has SL55 AMG wheels because the OEM wheels were all bent and needed straitening.
Phase 1 - Purchased the car like this, exactly as pictured.
Phase 2 - E55 wheels removed, SL55 wheels installed.
Phase 3 - Paint correction / chrome restoration + lowered
Hope you enjoyed and I inspired you to build your car further!

That's the price I have to pay to keep the car looking classy I suppose, haha.

I used to work right around the corner from those guys. The Maserati dealership took over the building we were in after we moved locations.
I'm looking to replace my wheels one of these days for that reason. No bull****, I'll spend 2 hours getting them to the point where I'm ok with how clean they are. I spend more time keeping my E63 clean than I do driving it.
