The wheels are stock E63 18x8.5 and 18x9, with 235/35 Bridgestones on all four. I don't like the idea of staggered wheels on an AWD car, but the diameters are VERY close and there's been no obvious issue so far.

Hi! First post here but i've read alot of valuable info here before buying the car.
After an intensive search, i found it.
2005 E500 with AMG pack, one owner, never been driven in the snow or rain, 88,000km on the clock. The car is seriously mint appart from a few very minor details
Came with the AMG badge on the trunk but as i saw, i don't think it came from factory. Pretty sure the dealer installed it since the previous owner was a 73 yrs old lady but i'm still unsure if it wasn't oem. I have the AMG logo on the exhaust tips and the wheels too.
Full trunk debadge is the next step
Got the lowering links on, resonator delete and X pipe fitted, carbon fiber diffuser installed yesterday and flowmasters are going on tomorrow morning with oem E63 tips

McJules, congrats on the purchase of such a beautiful car! Interior shots? As for balance shaft issues, I'm pretty sure that's a V6 problem and didn't affect the M113 V8.

Guessing he means tires. You can run a square setup on those wheels if you want.
It did not. Someone slapped it on there. Only the E55 for that year came with the AMG badge on it from the factory.

What do you think about adding/ (or keeping as in the case with the quebec AMG package car) an AMG badge on a car with the optional AMG package? OK or looked down upon in our community?

It's looked down upon by people with real AMG cars. No engine, no badge.
Ultimately it's your car so you can do whatever you want.

Bnzuovr, that's a gorgeous wagon! I'm hoping to add an E63 front end at some point as well. Does your wagon have Keyless Go?

Nice looking wagon!
AMG packages are offered on various models (Sport packages) but only the AMG with the engine get the AMG badge.

It would be like slapping a M badge on a 320. Big NO NO for me

I'm aware of that package. M badges on accessories indeed.
Same as my car, AMG wheels, bumpers and exhaust tips but that doesn't make it an AMG car.
Same as the ZHP. There's no M badge on the trunk either
