Grinding noise when taking a right hand turn
So last thursday(thanksgiving) I drove through some pretty DEEP puddles, along the lines of 6" deep. Well the car has been sitting since I got home that night and today I drove the car and I get this grinding noise when I launch in first and when I take a right turn. Anyone have any ideas?

Mercedes all the way!
could be the wheel well covering was dislocated after driving in water.
this has happened to my W220 before, so it could be the same issue. all my mechanic did was to re-seat them.
hope this helps!

I had a similar issue, I would get a grinding noise when "whipping in" to a parking space or drive thru. It didn't happen all the time, only about once a day. My mechanic at the MB dealer said he thought it was the brakes even though my pads have life left. He couldn't find anything else wrong that would cause it. I'm going to get them changed w/ aftermarket here shortly.
