Question Standard equipment on Canadian E 320

Hi all,

I'm a bit confused about the standard equipment for the E 320 in Canada.

The Canadian web site www.mercedes-benz.ca shows that the following items are standard equipment in Canada:

- heated front seats

- full leather upholstery (Nappa is still optional), or does "leather" mean "seating inserts only" in Canada as well? The Canadian web site doesn't say.

- four-zone climate control

According to www.mbusa.com, these items are optional in the U.S.

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks in advance.

Canadian W211

heated front seats - yes, std on all Canadian W211.
full leather upholstery - yes, std on all Canadian W211 (option in US). no, not leather inserts, full leather. nappa is C$1,100 (US$700) option.
four zone climate control - yes, std on all Canadian W211.

If you notice you get all these std for C$69,950 (US$45,000), you will find Canadian E320 is a great value.

And in addition to this, the Electric Sliding Glass Sunroof is also standard; no charge for metallic paint on the E320. Wow!!! Where did we go wrong?

Hmmm, thats cheap......I recall nappa being a $2k on the W210, I'll inquire with the dealer tomorrow to see what the deal is (if its available).
