2003 SL Launch Edition, 2003 E500 Pewter/Stone
Cars Direct Navigation Pricing @ $1200

The CarsDirect.com pricing on the Nav system option shows $1200 retail. The price of all other options shown seem accurate as to launch pricing or normal pricing. Has anyone heard anything about the price being $1200 rather than $2100+/- less a $500 credit for delay?

I saw that too and thought it was a mistake. Late last week my dealer told me that the discounted price for the DVD-Nav was $1,625. I hope he was wrong and carsdirect is right but like I said it has only been a few days since I spoke to him. he could have been wrong or MB may have changed the pricing. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Has anyone actually taken delivery of their car and prepaid for the DVD-Nav? If so how much did you pay?

Maybe the $1,200 was for the old CD-Rom Nav?

Carsdirect has some mis-information that they still need to correct. If you spec an E320 with sport package, it adds the price of the sport package PLUS the price of Airmatic DC. Now we all know that the sport package on the E320 comes with Airmatic, that's why it costs more than the E500 sport package. Therefore, I wouldn't assume that carsdirect's pricing is always correct.

The new ML's have dvd nav and it's priced at $1690 (mbusa.com, build your own ML320, under accessories). I was wondering if the new DVD nav for the other models would be like the MLs or is the ML a whole different story cuz the MLs already come with the screen?
